Service

Smart Folio provides free local features and subscription-based sync. You remain responsible for keeping exported backups of critical information.

Subscription

Paddle is the Merchant of Record. The final price, taxes, billing period, renewals, and cancellation options are displayed before payment is confirmed. If you cancel, local data remains available; remote sync stops accepting new changes when the subscription loses access.

Account access is provided exclusively through Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to distribute malware, compromise systems, abuse infrastructure, or store illegal content.

Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The local-first architecture lets the extension continue working during server interruptions.

Limitation of liability

Smart Folio is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss. Our local-first architecture and your own backups are your primary protection against data loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, including abusive, fraudulent, or illegal use. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time; this does not affect data you have already exported locally.
